OREANDA-NEWS. Tata Chemicals hosted its yearly ‘Partners in Progress’ meet at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. The objective of the meet was to acknowledge and appreciate the contribution and efforts made by service providers towards the communication endeavours at Tata Chemicals.

On this occasion, Tata Chemicals’ HR head, R Nanda, shared insights on the importance of ethics in Tata Chemicals and across the Tata group. As a gesture to integrate service providers in the ethos of ethics at Tata Chemicals, over 20 service providers pledged their adherence (as third party representatives) by signing the TCoC form. They also showcased some of their best communication campaigns done via print, web, social media platform, internal communication and audio visual on the Wall of Fame. The Star Communication Solution Providers award was given to the five most outstanding partners/service providers.

Mark Hannant, director of Magenta, named a 'Star Communications Solution Provider' said: "We've collaborated with the communications team in India and the leadership of Tata Chemicals’ companies in other geographies to develop Confluence, a new, global, communications channel. Having consistent internal communications across diverse businesses is an ongoing part of building a global organisation. It takes time to embed new channels. We've worked with Sujit and his team to build a business case for the publication. They have been great advocates for the project. Its value is in its ability to engage people on four continents in the group's strategy. To be honoured with an award is an added bonus. Our team is delighted with the recognition."

Another winner of the Star Communications Solution Provider award, Rajiv Dingra, CEO WAT Media, said: “An amazing event. The true spirit of being a partner to Tata Chemicals came through at the event. We felt not only appreciated for our work but also felt proud to be working with such a motivating client. “

Here’s what Allan Rodrigues, VP at Hansa Vision India, had to say: “We feel honoured to be called a ‘Star’ by Tata Chemicals. The criteria for this award is like an appraisal system and should become an industry best practice benchmark. This only sets the bar for service standards even higher for all service providers. One of our campaigns won the prestigious Gold Quill internationally and this was only because of the quality of partnership and innovation opportunities TCL offers.”

‘Partners in Progress’ at Tata Chemicals is a yearly event that recognises corporate communication related service providers who support TCL with services such as design and print, web, social media, public relations and audio visuals, among others.
