OREANDA-NEWS. June 14, 2013. BOC has launched Expresspay Card agency business at designated outlets in Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu. Combined with the outlets that had previously launched in Beijing and Tianjin, which adds to the total number of agency outlets to 31. From June 1, card holders may directly swipe cards to board trains running on Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway, Shanghai-Nanjing High-speed Railway and Shanghai-Hangzhou High-speed Railway.

Expresspay Card is distributed by China Railway & Banking Expresspay Co., Ltd. (CRBE). Passengers may show the card to buy tickets via channels such as POS-equipped railway ticket offices at railway stations, self-service ticket dispensers supporting bank card payment and the website of the China Railway Customer Service Center (www.12306.cn).

The card combines functions and features such as direct swiping for boarding, automatic deduction, seat reservation, information inquiry and multi-channel recharge. The card is available for purchase at BOC-designated outlets and railway stations and can be recharged via BOC-designated outlets, online banking, mobile banking and self-service terminals.
