OREANDA-NEWS. June 14, 2013. Recently, BOC has, in association with Mongolia's Golomt Bank, opened a Chinese business counter in Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia, to offer Chinese and local corporations financial services that includes investment consultation, international settlement, account opening and project loan. BOC hopes to use these services to promote further development of China-Mongolia economic and trade investment.

The counter is BOC's 9th of its kind abroad.

Chinese business counter is one of BOC's innovative methods of expanding its global service networks. In countries and regions where BOC's business branches are absent, BOC provides financial support to Chinese, foreign enterprises and individuals abroad by employing its rich correspondent bank resources abroad, by sending staff members to these banks and utilizing their business platforms to reach BOC's goal of rapid global expansion. Up till now, BOC has opened Chinese business counters in Oman, Ghana, Peru, Chile, Turkey, Finland, Uganda and Egypt.

Founded in 1995, Golomt Bank has 98 branches in Mongolia.
