OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 June airline RusLine launches an exclusive route from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to the second largest city of Lithuania – Kaunas.

New flight Moscow – Kaunas – Moscow is carried out on comfortable aircrafts Bombardier CRJ 200 twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays till 23 October 2013 (in the frames of the airline’s summer schedule).

Kaunas will be the second largest Lithuanian megapolis on Moscow Domodedovo Airport route network and will add to the highly demanded flights to Vilnius. Today Domodedovo accounts for almost 18% of total passenger traffic between Moscow and Lithuania.

Kaunas is famous for abundance of sights and eventful cultural life – this place gave birth to generations of Lithuanian artists, composers and writers.

Location of the city attracts business-tourists too – situated in the geographical centre of Lithuania, it opens the whole country for arriving travelers.
