OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2013. SEB is once more inviting the children of all its staff to come to work with Mom and Dad, to find out first-hand what their parents do on a daily basis.

Today, SEB is holding the now traditional “Bring your kids with you to work” day, with over 150 children expected at the bank. Also being held this year, “Money room” will see children identifying genuine and counterfeit money, meeting with Riho Unt, Chairman of the Management Board, and going on tours around the building to provide them with an overview of what is going on at the bank. Younger children will be visited by researchers and trade masters, whilst older ones will be taught how to deal with money wisely.

May-Liis Veinjarv, Assistant Director of the Personnel and Training Division of SEB: “It feels great to once more host the children of SEB’s staff, and with every undertaking of this kind we move closer to long-standing traditions. We started with Children’s Day years ago; last year, we formally unveiled a dedicated playroom, which is being used quite actively. We have been moving consciously in the direction of being an increasingly staff- and family friendly corporation.”

The day will conclude with a festive feast of currant bread, and children will receive certificates upon the successful completion of the banking day.
