OREANDA-NEWS. June 19, 2013. Capt. Wei Jiafu, Chairman of COSCO Group attended the banquet hosted by Jeff Immelt, CEO of GE, and had an informal meeting with Mr. Immelt at the event.

Both parties shared views on world economy and global shipping industry, and in particular, Capt. Wei and Mr. Immelt thoroughly discussed the future potential on new alternatives of marine power and offshore manufacturing industry.

Mr. Wang Yuhang, President of COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd also attended the event on which the leaders of China Shipping (Group) Company and Shanghai Maritime University were also invited.
