OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2013. The BLIZKO Payment System operated by Sviaz-Bank and MOBI.Money CJSC have launched a new service of online money transfer from mobile phones.

From now on, a BLIZKO customer can make a money transfer by sending an SMS message to a four-digit number, 3116, or by filling out a web form on the site www.mobi-money.ru, whereupon the money will be debited to the customer’s mobile phone account.

This service is available to subscribers of the Beeline, Megafon, MTS, and Rostelecom-Ural companies. The SMS message must show, at a spacing, the type of payment (BLIZKO), and the family name, personal name, and patronymic of the recipient (passport entries, for example, in Latin letters for citizens of Moldova).

The mobile telephone account can be credited in any standard manner.

Initially, money will be transferred within Russia, and sometime later, customers will be able to transfer money to countries bordering Russia (republics of the former U.S.S.R.). The money transferred by cellphone can be collected at service points of the BLIZKO Payment System anywhere across Russia.

“Mobile commerce is a fast-growing future-oriented business, and BLIZKO’s service developed jointly with MOBI.Money company is very simple and convenient. We are certain, therefore, that our customers will enjoy using it,” said Andrei Laikov, CEO of the BLIZKO Payment System.
