OREANDA-NEWS. Within the framework of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Bank of Moscow signed a co-operation agreement with the Government of Saint Petersburg.

On behalf of the Bank of Moscow the agreement was signed by Mikhail Kuzovlev, President and Chairman of the Board, and Georgy Poltavchenko, Governor, signed the agreement on behalf of the Government of Saint Petersburg.

Within the scope of the signed agreement the Bank of Moscow will take part in the implementation of programmes and projects aimed at social and economic development of Saint Petersburg. The implementation of investment projects, support to innovative development of the industrial complex, development of the competitive ability of Saint Petersburg in the sphere of economy, etc. are among the key directions of co-operation.

"The signed agreement defines the basis for a long-term co-operation between the Bank and the Government of Saint Petersburg aimed at creating conditions for the implementation of the city social and economic development plans and at assuring social stability and higher life standards of the people of Saint Petersburg", commented Mikhail Kuzovlev, President and Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Moscow. "I am sure that co-operation backed up by signatures at a most important economic forum will contribute towards a faster implementation of projects significant both for Saint Petersburg and the whole country".
