OREANDA-NEWS. June 21, 2013. According to the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), in January-March, 2013 Orange Moldova’s revenues for Mobile Internet decreased 5.8% from MDL 29.3 million to MDL 27.6 million versus the same period in 2012.

The revenues of Moldcell for Mobile Internet increased 63.6% from MDL 15.4 million to MDL 25.2 million as well as Unite (Moldtelecom is the provider) decreased its revenues by 2.1 times from MDL 6.7 million to MDL 14.1 million. ANRCETI reports that in QI, 2013 Orange Moldova took the biggest market share of Mobile Internet (41.28%), then followed Moldcell (37.56%) and Moldtelecom (21.07%); in QI, 2012 the share was 56.93%, 30.02% and 13.06% respectively.

ANRCETI reports that in QI, 2013, the most significant average monthly revenue per user (ARPU) made MDL 117.3 and was registered on the fixed Internet access market, 7.9% down versus QI, 2012. Moldcell had the biggest ARPU in QI, 2013 – MDL 142, 16.9% down versus QI, 2012, then followed Moldtelecom with MDL 129.1, 45.5% up, and Orange Moldova with MDL 97.4, 20.9% down.
