OREANDA-NEWS. Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group (NCSP Group or the Group) (LSE: NCSP, Moscow Exchange: NMTP) announces that t 18 June 2013 an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) has elected Yuri Matvienko as the General Director (CEO) of PJSC NCSP.

Yuri Matvienko said: “This is a great honour for me and it is a huge responsibility to lead Russia's largest transportation sector business. I will do everything in my power to sustain what we've achieved and to drive NCSP Group's performance further.”

Mr. Matvienko's candidacy was proposed by PJSC NCSP shareholder Novoport Holding Ltd and unanimously approved as the only candidate for CEO by the PJSC NCSP Board of Directors on 22 May 2013.

The EGM also voted on the following items:

· to terminate prematurely the authority of PJSC NCSP's sole executive body, General Director (CEO) Rado Antolovic;

· to terminate prematurely the authority of the PJSC NCSP Board of Directors elected 17 June 2013;

· to elect the following members to the PJSC NCSP Board of Directors:

· Alexander Tikhonov, Department Director at the Russian Federation Ministry of Transportation;

· Alexander Vinokurov, President of Summa Group;

· Vitaliy Sergeichuk, Deputy Division Director at the Russian Federation Agency for State Property Management.

· Maxim Grishanin, First Vice President of Transneft;

· Mikhail Barkov, Vice President of Transneft;

· Marat Shaydaev, First Deputy CEO of PJSC NCSP.

Viktor Olerskiy, the seventh member of the Board, is appointed by the Government of the Russian Federation as the State's representative on the Board of Directors under the “golden share” rule.

Yuri Matvienko has served as Acting CEO of PJSC NCSP since 19 March 2013. Prior to that he was the Executive Director of PJSC NCSP, a post he held since 2011. Before joining NCSP Group, Mr. Matvienko worked as the CEO of BalttransService (a subsidiary of Transnefteproduct). In 2005-2009 he was the CEO of the Primorsk Trade Port. From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Matvienko was First Deputy CEO at Sea Port Service (Port Primorsk, Vyborg district, Leningrad Region). From 1994 to 2003 he worked with Novorossiysk Shipping Company, and from 1987 to 1994, with Sakhalin Shipping Company.

Yuri Matvienko graduated from Novorossiysk Higher Marine Engineering College in 1987 with a degree in Sea Routes Navigation, with qualifications as an Engineer and Navigator. He received an MBA from the St. Petersburg International Institute of Management in 2010.

Yuri Matvienko was born on 10 April 1964 in Kanevskaya, Krasnodar region.
