OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2013. The Krasnoyarsk-Dudinka route, a major direction of cargo shipment supplying Norilsk Industrial area for Yenisei River Shipping Lines, a subsidiary of MMC Norilsk Nickel has resumed deliveries following opening of Dudinka seaport.

Kislovodsk and Kostroma are the first vessels to go on haul with over 1,000 runs to the seaport planned for the company’s cargo fleet in the shipping season.

The bulk of the cargo is being shipped to MMC Norilsk Nickel; the Company receives a significant portion of Yenisei River Shipping Lines and the Yenissei river freight traffic. MMC Norilsk Nickel remains the key purchaser of Yenisei River Shipping Lines freight services with the total volume of cargo in the current season amounting to 1.9 million tonnes. The Yenisei River Shipping Lines fleet supplies the Company with oil, lumber, coke, coal, ferrous metals, construction chemical materials, sand and other types of cargo.

The Yenisei River Shipping Lines will deliver an additional 100,000 tonnes of cargo for social needs, including the purposes of deliveries of goods to the Northern Territories program.
