OREANDA-NEWS. On the grounds of the ATOMEXPO-2013 International forum the JSC “Techsnabexport” (TENEX) and JC NAC “Kazatomprom” entered a Material Account Agreement (hereinafter “Agreement”) determining the conditions of physical shipment of natural uranium from Kazakhstan to Russian conversion facilities and subsequent book transfer operations.

The above-mentioned Agreement will enable optimizing the scheme of cooperation between TENEX and Kazatomprom on the one hand and common foreign customers on the other hand, and particularly performing shipments of natural uranium from Kazakhstan to Russia by means of book transfer for subsequent processing (uranium conversion and/or enrichment).
