OREANDA-NEWS. RusRating has assigned a credit rating to DOK Yenisei (Krasnoyarsk region). The rating is “BBB” on the national scale and “BB” on the international scale, in both cases with a negative outlook.

According to the agency, the rating is based on healthy operating profits, an established pool of buyers, control of a source of raw materials (designated logging areas) and positive experience in the markets for cut lumber and pressed boards.

Constraining factors include an elevated debt burden (on the basis of official accounts) and the Company's relatively modest size.

The negative outlook reflects a potential increase in the debt burden and a possible change of ownership accompanied by risks to licenses and quality certificates.

OOO DOK Yenisei [trs. Yenisei Wood Processing Company LLC] is a smaller Russian company that produces cut lumber and pressed boards. Its productive assets are located in the Krasnoyarsk region and include logging areas held under a forty-nine year lease, a wood processing plant in the town of Berezovka and a fleet of timber lorries. Most of its output is sold to Japan, but there are also buyers in Russia and Europe (particularly Denmark). The Company's principal beneficiary owner is General Director Yuri Mikhailovich Gaidutski. DOK Yenisei works closely with OOO Sibleskom, which is its sole supplier of raw wood, and OOO Kraslessnab, which handles all export contracts.
