OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2013. The single interactive state services portal was launched in the .Uz domain zone in testing regime, which will render interactive state services to population and businesses on “a single window” principle.

This was the topic of the press conference, organized by the State committee for communications, informatisation and telecommunications technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Implementation of the project is a logical continuation of formation and development of “Electronic governance” system in our country. As was highlighted by the deputy chairman of the State committee for communications, informatisation and telecommunications technologies Sh.Shermatov, the single portal has been created in line with the “Year of well-being and prosperity” State Program, approved by President Islam Karimov and a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On the measures on further improving the activity of the Governmental portal of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Internet and rendering interactive state services” dated from 30 December 2012.

It should be emphasized that during the press conference the developers demonstrated functional possibilities of the Single interactive state services portal, as well as interaction process of state bodies with population and businesses.

“Services in new format” is a slogan of the single portal. This entails that interactive state services are provided via single access point in real time. At the moment over 40 services, encompassing diverse spheres of the economy and and society, are included in the portal. Furthermore, services on sending application to receive relevant licenses in different spheres are provided for businesspeople.

Main attention is paid to considering the application of individuals. Here individuals and businesses can submit application to the state and business bodies, local administrations.

One of the main elements of the single portal is a statistics module, which provides topical information on the state of consideration of applications by the state bodies. The module aims at ensuring transparency and openness of the activity of the state bodies, which in the future will serve to increase the efficiency of the interaction between the state bodies and population of Uzbekistan.

During the press conference a new system of online payments for fixed telephony, internet, digital TV services, provided by Uzbektelecom JSC, was also presented.
