OREANDA-NEWS.   Once every week Commercial Port of Vladivostok accepts for handling 64 building modules, financed from the regional budget. These modules are used for building rural health posts in small settlements of Primorsky region. 800 modules are to be handled by the port till the end of 2013 for construction of 100 rural health posts.

Containers are delivered to Commercial Port of Vladivostok from Shanghai by FESCO China Direct Line vessels. Until Customs cleared, cargo is stored at the open storage areas of Vladivostok Container Terminal, upon completion of all necessary procedures it is shipped by trucks to the settlements of Primorsky region. 

On June 24, 2013 another cargo arrived at the port - MRI scanner, designated for one of the Vladivostok clinics. Medical device was transported disassembled in container. It was promptly unloaded and delivered to the warehouse on berth 6, where customer's representatives made all necessary arrangements to maintain the scanner in operation. Engineers made up temporary circuit, connected the device to the port's power network and filled it with helium. Upon completion of Customs clearance the cargo was loaded on truck and shipped to the place of destination.

Commercial Port of Vladivostok is willing to handle and store goods designated for improving medical care in the region further on.
