OREANDA-NEWS. In the city of Yekaterinburg State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and the Urals Optical and Mechanical Plant (UOMP) incorporated in the holding of State Corporation Rostechnologies Schwabe entered into an Agreement on Cooperation.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Agreement was signed by Vnesheconombank Deputy Chairman Anatoly Ballo and on behalf of UOMP – by Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Activity, Sales and R&D Anatoly Sludnykh.

The parties agreed to make joint efforts to prepare and fund projects of the sectoral nanotechnology and robotized machine working engineering center as well as other projects.

The creation of a nanotechnology center will make it possible to speed up the development of domestic nano sector and create competitive advantages of Russia on the world’s high technologies market in line with modern trends in the world technological development.

Rated capacity of the robotized machine working engineering center scheduled to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2014 is to exceed 720000 parts a year with 3000 item names. The number of workers employed by the new highly automated machine working production facility will not exceed 20 people.
