OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2013. RusForest’s extraordinary general meeting of shareholders resolved in accordance with the nomination committee’s proposal, that the number of board members shall be six without any deputy members and to elect Garrett Soden as board member and chairman of the board of directors and to elect Paul Putz as deputy chairman of the board of directors, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.

The extraordinary general meeting resolved, in accordance with the nomination committee’s proposal, on unchanged fees to the board of directors, i.e., SEK 150,000 (USD 22,388) annually to each board member not drawing any salary from the Company and SEK 300,000 (USD 44,776) to the chairman of the board of directors. However, due to the election of the additional member to the board of directors, the total fee will increase by SEK 150,000 (USD 22,388).

RusForest is a Swedish forestry company operating in Eastern Siberia and the Arkhangelsk region of Russia. The Company controls long-term timber leases and utilizes these resources to produce a wide range of sawnwood products.
