OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2013. Incheon Airport was rated ‘excellent’ in government- run ‘Institution Management Performance Evaluation and Autonomous Management Evaluation 2012’.

In spite of facing the global economic recession, low-growth fixation, and other difficulties, since its opening, Incheon Airport has gained the best results in outcome, reinforcement of inner capability and other fields and achieved top-class ranking in ‘Management Performance Evaluation and Autonomous Management Evaluation 2012’ thanks to actively used manpower, organization, self-control of budget and focusing on future strategic business.

Despite the global economic recession, by continuously increasing its turnover (5.7%^) and operating profit (10.4%^) and reducing current cost up to 69.3 billion Korean won along with other effective managing skills, Incheon Airport has gained 500 billion Korean won net profit during the current term and greatly reduced the debt ratio from 63% to 52%.

Especially, the net profit ratio has reached 31.6%, the highest level among domestic organizations, showing excellent managing results in terms of the nature of business such as growth, profitability, financial stability and etc.

The improvement of business competitiveness and the results, achieved by Incheon Airport is expected to contribute to the national economy by paying out the government dividends in total of 124.8 billion Korean won, bringing the burden relief for passengers, airlines and enterprises through freezing the airport charges.

It is also expected that 13 cooperative companies’ co-existing program enforcement, enlargement of small and middle enterprises’ stores and other conjoint growth will be continued and the excellent results, gained through autonomous management will be shared with public.
