OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2013. One of the important results of Ukrainian-Russian meeting of Prime Ministers of the two countries, which was held on July 12, 2013 in Sochi, was reached an agreement to establish a joint venture for the production of the aircraft An-124 Ruslan (Condor).

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko said this in an interview with 5Channel.

"It was decided to establish a joint venture to produce An-124, the largest aircraft in the world. We have orders of the Prime Ministers of both countries to ink the founding document in September at a meeting of Ukrainian-Russian Committee on Economic Cooperation," Yuriy Boyko said.

He stressed that An-124 is a unique aircraft and such cooperation will stimulate further development of Ukrainian-Russian cooperation in the aviation industry.

"It is very important that we have a positive experience of the joint venture and co-production. AN-124 is a unique aircraft that has a huge potential in all sectors of the global economy. Therefore, we believe that we and our Russian partners will work successfully on it. This will be the positive example on which our cooperation will be developed," Yury Boyko said.
