OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 July 2013 GlobeRunner Awards ceremony was held in New York.

On the prestigious award, founded by American internet portal Frequent Business Traveler, one of the leading partners of Domodedovo - Transaero Airlines - was named the Best Airline in Europe/Middle East/Africa. Transaero became the first Russian airline honored by this high-status international award.

From January to March people from all around the world cast over 110,000 votes for their favorite travel companies, estimating their services and achievements. GlobeRunner Awards honors airlines in three nominations: “Best Airline in Asia/Pacific”, ” Best Airline in Europe/Middle East/Africa”, ” Best Airline in the Americas”.
