OREANDA-NEWS. On July 2013 one year turned since cooperation between Moscow Domodedovo Airport and airline Air Onix had began.

Ukrainian air carrier Air Onix operates flights 12 times per week from Domodedovo to Simferopol International Airport on modern airliners Boeing 737 with comfortable two-class cabin configuration. In the passed year the aircrafts with emerald logo operated over 850 takeoffs and landings in Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Demand on Air Onix's flights from Domodedovo is steadily increasing - during the first half of 2013 the passenger traffic on this direction has increased more than twice.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport offers passengers wide opportunities for transfer flights. Today airport route network includes 237 domestic and international destinations, 78 out of them are unique for Moscow air hub. The program “Domodedovo Transfer Service” enables airlines to extend geography of flights and lets passengers receive additional comfort and save costs (flight cost within the Program is usually lower than total price of separately bought tickets).

Air Onix - is a young dynamically developing airline. First flight of the air carrier was operated on 28 April 2012. For the first year of operation the airline Air Onix carried out 191 000 passengers. Today route network of the airline includes 7 regular flights (from Simferopol to Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kiev, Istanbul, Tel-Aviv, Tbilisi, from Kiev to Bratislava) and charter flights as well.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport - is the largest one of Russia, in 2012 the airport served 28,2 million people. It joins the category of the largest airports in Europe on the classification of the Airports Council International (ACI) and on results of 2012 became one of three European airports with the highest dynamic development. Since 2009 it is ranked as the best airport in Eastern Europe by Skytrax. Domodedovo is chosen for flights by member airlines of two largest global airline alliances - Star Alliance and oneworld.

Domodedovo Transfer Service - is a program, that has been realized by Moscow Domodedovo Airport since 2005; its target is to create a wide route network of connecting flights through Domodedovo Airport with appliance of through fares and special technologies of passenger and luggage service.
