OREANDA-NEWS. Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, has been adjudged the ‘Best In-flight Meal in Economy for 2012’ at the Monitor Awards held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Renowned for the warmth and hospitality of its acclaimed in-flight service, Jet Airways emerged victorious from a field comprising of several leading airlines. Jet Airways was also nominated as one of the three airlines for the ‘Best Short-Haul Airline’.

 Mr Vinay Varma, Country Manager – Bangladesh, Jet Airways, received the award from Hon. Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, Mr Muhammad Faruk Khan, on behalf of the airline at a glittering function in Dhaka. The award function was attended by several luminaries from the trade and travel industry.

 Monitor awards is judged annually and the most prestigious Airline awards in Bangladesh. The winner was selected by a panel of judges and also feedback from over 2000 frequent travelers from Bangladesh.

 Jet Airways operates daily Boeing 737 flights from Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata to Dhaka.
