OREANDA-NEWS. July 25, 2013. Executing the instructions “On Analyzing the Markets of Customs Services” issued by the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) organized a meeting with representatives of non-governmental and professional associations interested in improving the state of competition in customs affairs.

Participants discussed the existing barriers to market entry and the current issues facing importers / exporters.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to form a Working Group involving representatives of “Business Russia”, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, as well as professional associations of importers / exporters.

“Determining administrative barriers in customs services and drafting proposals towards developing healthy competition on the relevant markets, it is very important for us to take into account the opinion of business-community”, pointed out the Head of FAS Department for Control over the Authorities, Vladimir Mishelovin.
