OREANDA-NEWS. Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister, and Alexey Repik, Co-Chairman of “Delovaya Rossiya” signed a Cooperation Agreement on July 23 at the General Council Meeting of All-Russia Business Association “Delovaya Rossiya”. The Agreement defines ways of cooperation to improve business climate, establish competitive business conditions and support rapid social and economic development of Russia. The Agreement represents high level of collaboration reached by the Parties within recent years. Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed the first partnership agreement with business community in 2005. “New Agreement represents the current state of our collaboration and defines new ways of cooperation,” said Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister. The Ministry believes that Russian business community will continue to benefit from the efforts being taken on international level.

“The more stable position Russia has, the easier it will be for Russian companies to sign agreements with foreign partners. The more efficient our economy and business performance, the more confident foreign policy we will follow,” said Sergey Lavrov. The Minister also highlighted growing business community’s attention to cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Alexey Repik, Co-Chairman of “Delovaya Rossiya” added that the government and business community had common goals. Both parties try to diversify the economy and create new jobs. He said: “Stable economy development is very important to us. Rapid development of Russian manufacturers depends on successful international expansion, global cooperation, strategic partnerships and technology transfer.” Mr. Repik also said that “Delovaya Russia” was successful in establishing the cooperation with international organizations and various business associations. “We do rely on help from the Ministry and Russian representative offices abroad,” added Mr. Repik.
