OREANDA-NEWS. Fujitsu has announced a revamp of its Select Partner Program in Australia to provide greater ongoing value to both new and existing partners. The enhanced program offers partners a combination of rebates, marketing development funds, and highly qualified leads in addition to existing benefits including project pricing assistance and additional pre-sales support. Certification requirements for Select and Select Expert level partners have also been revised to better meet the needs of Fujitsu’s channel partners within Australia.

To support the revamped partner program, Fujitsu has formalised its National Product Training Plan, which registered partners can view on the Fujitsu Partner Portal. Certification courses are complimentary, and are available on a rotating basis in the major capital cities. Depending on the nature of their business, each partner has the option to take courses covering PRIMERGY Servers and / or the ETERNUS Storage product range, to build on their specific expertise.

‘Select Partners will benefit in line with their ability to meet their business targets and become experts in our products,’ said Peter Uher, General Manager, Fujitsu Products Group. ‘As well as rewarding our established partners with additional incentives and investments to support growth in their businesses, this highly competitive program will enable us to attract new partners to drive the continued growth of our channel business in Australia.’

Fujitsu has continued to make significant investments in the Channel in 2013, appointing two new tier 1 distributors, Dicker Data and Distribution Central, and is currently on track to meet its objective of 10% market share in x86 servers by the end of FY14.

In addition to the Select Partner Program a special Authorized Service Provider (ASP) program is also available for Partners that wish to service the Fujitsu products they sell. While there is an additional cost for these events they are very hands-on and each trained partner leaves the course with their own PRIMERGY product to keep and practice on.
