OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC Mostotrest announces it has signed a state contract to complete the first stage of reconstruction of the 0-16km section of the M11 ‘Narva’ motorway, which runs from St Petersburg to the border with the Republic of Estonia (to Tallinn), at the entrance to the Ust-Luga commercial seaport (via Kerstovo, Kotly and Koskolovo) in the Leningrad Region. The project is due to be completed by end of 2015.

The contract value is RUB 4.84 billion (including VAT).

Under the new contract, reconstruction works on the M11 ‘Narva’ motorway will take place at the entrance to the Ust-Luga seaport: a 146.24-metre flyover junction will be constructed across access paths in the vicinity close to the Alekseyevsky Lime Plant, a 33.2-metre bridge will be built across the River Solka, the existing 6.15km stretch will be rebuilt and a new 9.85km category II road section with an anticipated maximum speed of 120km/h will be completed. The project will also incorporate a crossing-point for animals that will run underneath the centre of the road section. This project is due to be completed 28 months after the contract was entered into with the state agency.

At the present time, the company already operates production facilities in the area. Mostotrest experts are currently working alongside experts from Transstroymekhanizatsia LLC on the reconstruction of the 16-40km section of the M11 ‘Narva’ motorway (completion date is December 2014), as well as working on the second stage of the 0-16km section (completion date is November 2014). Both of these projects are executed according to the schedule and will be completed on time.
