OREANDA-NEWS. Commercial Port of Vladivostok (part of FESCO Transportation Group) has been actively improving its vehicle handling operation and has seen a 23.5% year-on-year increase in vehicle volumes over the first six months of 2013, having handled 47,900 units: cars, trucks and heavy duty vehicles.

The largest increase was in the car import and for the period January-June the port handled 41,000 cars which is 31% increase compared with the same period last year.

Commercial Port of Vladivostok fully recognizes the importance of high quality service to its clients and handling of import vehicles is one of the port's top priorities.

All possible measures are being taken to promote its further development, including regular liner service, security, quality control, temporary storage areas at Sea Port Vladivostok and Pervomaiskiy customs posts, as well as possibility for container shipments on flatracks from any part of the world, providing assurance for further sustainable growth in vehicle volumes arriving from abroad.
