OREANDA-NEWS. August 02, 2013. Annealing & Coating Line (ACL) of CSVC, the Cold Rolling Complex invested jointly by CSC and NSSMC in Vietnam, produced the first Electrical Steel (ES) coil. After that, Continuous Annealing Line (CAL) produced a Cold Rolled (CR) coil and Pickling & Tandem Cold Mill (PLTCM) also produced an As Cold Rolled (ASCR) coil on June 1 and 14, 2013 respectively.

Finally, through the collaboration of the commissioning team, Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL) smoothly produced a Galvanized Coil (GI) on July 25, 2013. This indicates that all four main production lines of CSVC have stridden into the production stage and will supply the Vietnamese and ASEAN markets with high quality steel products in the usages of automobiles, home appliances, building materials, structures and so on.

For CSVC’s CGL, the mechanical and electrical installations started in Feb., 2012 Partial individual tests proceeded in Jan., 2013, the cold run was started near the last week of May, 2013 and the hot run proceeded from July 22, 2013. This accomplishment is not easy because the resources and technologies are not enough in Vietnam compared with those in Taiwan.

Up to now, all four main production lines of CSVC are producing smoothly, and what we will do are to maintain the production equipments in a stable condition and to adopt the excellent production technologies from both parent companies in order to promote the quality and capacity of products toward the goal we set. Now, the various products have been sent to customers for the purpose of understanding the level of the product quality, and in the meanwhile to find out the potential problems through the feedbacks from our customers. By getting the optimal parameters of the production and adopting the skilled operation technologies, we can promote the quality of our products continuously and reach massive production in the future.
