OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2013. The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) outlined alternate transportation options for passengers in the event of a possible Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) strike, which could cause service disruptions beginning Monday, August 5, 2013.

Other transit & shared rides

SFO recommends that travelers take other forms of public transit, such as the Caltrain commuter rail or SamTrans bus, to the airport. Trip-planning options, and special information on transit options during any potential BART strike, can be found at www.511.org. Shared-ride vans services are also available.
