OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2013. As of July 1, 242 projects with total budget of 1.25 billion euros are implemented in Moldova with the support of external donors.

As the State Chancellery reports, 86 projects are implemented with the support of the EU in the amount of 271.16 million euros, 39 projects – by UN (65.03 million euros), 30 – by USA (265.88 million euros), 13 – by the World Bank (155.07 million euros), 12 – by Switzerland (16.14 million euros), 9 – by Austria (13.2 million euros), 9 – by Sweden (14.67 million euros), 7 – by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (113.52 million euros), 5 –by the European Investment Bank (187.3 million euro), 5 – by Czech Republic (1.16 million euros), 5 – by Germany (11.35 million euros), 5 – by Liechtenstein (3.5 million euros).

4 projects worth \\$ 1.63 million and 100.58 million respectively are implemented by Japan and Romania. China is funding 3 projects with a budget worth 11.94 million euros. One project is implemented by the Council of Europe (3.57 million euros), the Development Bank of the Council of Europe (13.4 million euros), Denmark (197.62 million euros), Norway (1.58 million euros), Turkey (4 million euros) and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (7.43 million euros).
