OREANDA-NEWS. August 14, 2013. Sergey Krjukov, CEO of SME Bank (Vnesheconombank group) took part in the international conference Sustainable Growth through Long-term Investments organized by Vnesheconombank on the threshold of the G20 finance ministers’ and central bank governors’ meeting.

The event was attended by Anton Siluanov, Russian Finance Minister, Vladimir Dmitriev, Vnesheconombank’s Chairman, representatives of foreign development banks, private financial institutions, public organizations, Vnesheconombank’s subsidiaries.

Sergey Krjukov made a presentation on the topic “Combining Local Expertise and International Best Practice” showing that international best practices were implemented in SME Bank during the whole lifetime of SME Lending Support Program – starting from the creation of the two-stage mechanism, via the existing product range and reflecting new trends in the development strategy until 2016.

“The international experience shows that one of the most important tasks for the development institutions worldwide, apart from support of big infrastructural projects in strategically important areas and implementation of anti-crisis measures, is the support of small and medium enterprises – the basis of sustainable economic development”.
