OREANDA-NEWS. August 14, 2013. The Ministry of Social Policy is working under a number of initiatives whose purpose is to facilitate the return to the labor market of young mothers who came out of child (under 3 years old) rearing leave.

This was reported by Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Nataliya Korolevska.

The Minister said that the two such initiatives are being considered. "First of all, the woman who came out of child rearing leave and failed to find a job for 6 months in employment services becomes eligible for preferential employment. The employer who employs a woman shall be entitled to receive subsidies," Nataliya Korolevska explained.

"Secondly, a woman who is on child rearing leave will be eligible to receive a voucher for training, retraining and advanced training," the Minister said.
