OREANDA-NEWS. Starting August 8, 2013, Aleksandr Barykov became head of the Large Diameter Pipe Division at United Metallurgical Company (CJSC OMK, Moscow). The LDP Division includes manufacturing facilities at Heavy Plate Mill 5000, the fourth electric-weld pipe workshop and the corrosion-resistant pipe coating workshop at Open Joint Stock Company Vyksa Steel Works (OJSC VSW, Vyksa, Nizhny Novgorod region, an OMK company).

Aleksandr Barykov had been Operations Director of Chelyabinsk-headquartered Trubodetal (OJSC Trubodetal, an OMK company) since January 2012. He excelled in polishing its operating processes and improving efficiency and management quality. Aleksandr Barykov has also been First Deputy Managing Director of Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant since February 2013 (OJSC BVP, Republic of Bashkortostan). In this capacity, he made an invaluable contribution to the successful launch of the company's integration into OMK and new investment projects.
