OREANDA-NEWS. In January-July 2013, total consumption of electric power in Georgia (excluding losses) made 5 902.76 million KW/h, by 2% less than in the same period of 2012 (6 009.1 million KW/h). Over the reporting period, total consumption of electric power in Georgia (considering losses) made 6 022.55 million KW/h.

In particular, direct consumers received 922.62 million KW/h of the electric power in January-July 2013, and the power distribution companies – 4 645.08 million KW/h.

In January-July 2013, thermoelectric power stations as well as seasonal and regulating stations of Georgia generated 5 687.09 million KW/h of electric power.

Import made 264.11 million KW/h in January-July 2013, while export – 335.06 million KW/h.

In January-December 2012, total consumption of electric power in Georgia (excluding losses) made 9 907.53 million KW/h, by 2,7% less, than in the same period of 2011 (10 187.22 million KW/h). Over the reporting period, total consumption of electric power in Georgia (considering losses) made 10 086.52 million KW/h.
