OREANDA-NEWS. The head of the regional Donbass channel Yuriy Sugak was appointed the CEO of the largest Dnepropetrovsk channel 34 (Dnepropetrovsk TV Service) on 15 August 2013.

Over the last several years Channel 34 has been the leading channel in the region and it keeps developing.

“Regional TV remains in demand with the viewers despite the increased popularity of national channels. Today Channel 34 is the channel which every Dnepropetrovsk resident loves, understands and holds close to their heart. The primary tasks to be addressed by Yuriy include strengthening the channel’s position, strategic planning of further development and efficient partnership. I am confident that his experience in development of regional television will help to quickly attain the new goals we set,” commented the CEO of Ukraina Media Group Fedor Ogarkov.

Yuriy Sugak is known in media circles as a professional executive, experienced media manager and talented journalist who already has one successful project in his career portfolio - Donbass channel. “The regional broadcaster will always have an advantage in time response to the events going on in its home city and it will have an opportunity to give more air time to the event, make it interactive which stimulates the viewers’ interests. Television is a team business and I am happy to join the team of Dnepropetrovsk Channel 34,” stated Yuriy Sugak.

The previous CEO of the Channel was Andrey Budyak who left the company on his own initiative due to the work on the new project. “The time spent on 34 is a real milestone in my life,” says Andrey Budyak. ‘I am grateful to the team and the management for our good joint work and I am leaving the Channel with a slightly sad heart and strong belief in Channel 34.
