OREANDA-NEWS. Azerbaijan increased the export of electric power for July 11-fold versis June when it grew by 44.7%.

The State Customs Committee reported that according to electric meters’ data for this July electric power export from the country totaled 10.857 million kWh against 9.756 million kWh in June and 15.86 million kWh in May (this years’ best index). For Jan-Jul 2013 power export totaled 73.168 million kWh against 341.058 million kWh in 2012 and 416.87 million in 2011.

In December 2012 power export reached only 11.965 million kWh against 107.548 million kWh in March (last year’s best index).

Registration on customs entries (power export) for July 2013 reached 129.757 million kWh for USD 5.259 million against 11.447 million kWh for USD 629,210 in June and 221.6 million kWh for USD 8.5 million in February (this year’s best index).

For Jan-Jul 2013 the index made 491.2 million kWh for USD 19.818 million against 482.697 million kWh for USD 27.756 million in 2012 and 794.497 million kWh for USD 40.1 million in 2011. In December 2012 export totaled 9.606 million kWh for USD 3.553 million (last year’s best financial indicator of export) against 65.3 million kWh for USD 990,880 in May (best physical level of export).

In 2013 the country still exports electricity at the price of USD 0.0403 per kWh against USD 0.0575 per kWh in 2012.

In January the price was USD 0.0597, in February USD 0.0384 per kWh, in March USD 0.0575, in April USD 0.0504, in May USD 0.0549, in June USD 0.0549, and in July USD 0.0405.

At that, December’s price (USD 0.3699 kWh) became the highest for 2011-12.

In 2011 the country exported power at the price of USD 0.0505 and in December at USD 0.0536 per kWh, and the highest export price was registered in May 2011 - USD 0.07 per kWh.
