OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2013. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov is convinced that Ukraine and Russia will be able to settle all disputes related to the work of Customs in the near future. He said this while chatting with users of social network Facebook.

He noted that to address this issue the attention of all the executives of the state was drawn. And today, the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has had a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In addition, Ukrainian government delegation headed by Vice Prime Minister Yuriy Boyko departed to Moscow in short order.  

"A meeting of Yuriy Boyko with the First vice Prime Minister of Russia Igor Shuvalov was held. It has been agreed that on Monday representatives of the Ukrainian and Russian customs will meet, and they will work out all the issues that today are classified as unresolved, Mykola Azarov said. - In a short word, absolutely normal work to resolve those issues that require further consideration and approval is being carried out."

The Prime Minister is convinced that such decisions will be find.

The Prime Minister was also surprised by the reaction of some Ukrainian politicians, which "gladly and enthusiastically put through a thesis about the alleged trade wars between Ukraine and Russia."

"I can responsibly say that any war will not be. And I would advise these politicians to think: is in our national interest any trade war with our largest partner?" said Mykola Azarov. He added that such a war is also not in the interests of Russia.

"That is why we are determined to make every effort to resolve existing disputes. And our people should make appropriate conclusions from all of these events," Mykola Azarov summed up.
