OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2013. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Moldova Iurie Leanca during his visit to Cimislia region. The park area will make 40 ha with possibility of further expansion up to 100 ha.

According to Iurie Leanca, opening of the industrial park will create new jobs in the region. For the construction of the park 70 million lei investment are required. The main part of funding will be provided by the Moldovan government and Cimislia City Hall. The partner of the project will be Prahova County Council in Romania.

As the chairman of the Board Mircea Cozma has informed, the county has an extensive experience in the development of industrial parks and the council has recently launched construction of the largest agro-industrial park in Romania. As it was previously reported, at present there are two industrial parks in Moldova: Tracom and Bioenergagro.

By September 26 it is planned to announce the contest for selection of residents for the industrial park"Raut". In addition, in June 2013 the company CAAN in Straseni was also granted the status of the industrial park.
