OREANDA-NEWS. Vysokotochnye Kompleksy Holding, member of the State Corporation Rostec and the French group  Safran entered into a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in the optoelectronics field. The document was signed by General Director of Vysokotochnye Kompleksy, Alexander Denisov, and Chairman, Chief Executive Officer of Safran, Jean -Paul Herteman during the Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2013.

"This Memorandum confirms the Vysokotochnye Kompleksy confidence to the production of high-quality Sagem thermal imagers (member of Safran Group) and enables to place further orders for their supply from the autumn of this year", - said Alexander Denisov after the signing ceremony.

The partnership between Safran and Vysokotochnye Kompleksy Holding has been developing for more than ten years within the cooperation framework of their units - Sagem and the Tula Instrument Design Bureau (IDB). Highly competitive solutions, jointly offered by the IDB and the Sagem successfully gain a niche in the Russian domestic and international markets and have good prospects for the future, reflecting the high potential for cooperation between the two companies.

JSC NPO “Vysokotochnye kompleksy” was established in 2009 due to the Order #1 of the SC Rostec CEO on January 11, 2009 in order to consolidate the scientific and technical capacity of core enterprise group for creating, based on innovation and technological upgrading of existing industrial base, of promising armament, military and special equipment (AMSE ) in the field of high-precision and weapon systems for tactical combat zone.
