Ingosstrakh Insurance Company - an Official Insurer of the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia, Partner of the Russian National Ice Hockey Team and the Russian Youth National Hockey Team - continued cooperation with the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia. Traditionally, in the current season Ingosstrakh Insurance Company acts as an official partner of international away and home hockey matches with participation of the Russian Team, held in the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as all the games of the Russian stage of the Euro Hockey Tour.

Moreover, in the 2013/2014 season Ingosstrakh Life Insurance Company will provide the players of the Russian Men’s National Ice Hockey Team and the players of the Youth Team with a 24-hour insurance coverage during their participation in practice sessions and in international competitions, as well as during their trip to respective venues and back, according to the game and practice session plan. The signed insurance agreement will remain in effect until February 2014.

In the 2012/2013 season the players of the Russian Men’s National Ice Hockey Team were also insured by Ingosstrakh Life Insurance Company, particularly during the Channel One Cup, the Euro Hockey Tour stage “Czech Hockey Games” and a range of other international competitions. In 2010 Ingosstrakh Life Insurance Company insured the players of the National Team for the period of their participation in the practice sessions (including the Olympic practice session, which was held in Moscow), games of the Euro Hockey Tour. At the World Ice Hockey Championships in Moscow (2007), Canada (2008), Switzerland (2009), Germany (2010), Slovakia (2011), Finland and Sweden (2012) most players of the Russian National Team were insured by Ingosstrakh Life Insurance Company. During many years of cooperation, the insurance company has performed its undertaken obligations many times, paying compensations to hockey players who got different injuries during competitions.

Recall that yesterday, on August 29, the Russian National Team outplayed the Swedish Team at an offset match of the first group stage Czech Hockey Games of the Euro Hockey Tour. The game, which took place in the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg ended with the final score 2:0. Finland will be the next after Sweden to compete with Russia following by the play of the National Team and the Czech Republic.
