OREANDA-NEWS. September 09, 2013. Close to 84% of the incomes were received from licensing gaming and gambling companies, the Licensing Chamber of Moldova states.

In January-June, 2013, the license tollage on these companies made up MDL 46.93 million, 39.7%up as compared with the same period of 2012. Besides, considerable licensing receipts were collected from production of alcoholic beverages – MDL 2 million (-24.5%); import of alcoholic beverages – MDL 2.04 million, (+5.7%), construction – MDL 1.26 million (+6.48%) and production and import of tobacco goods – MDL 0.85 million (+10,1%). In the reporting period the Licensing Chamber issued and prolonged 1,300 licenses, 6.2% down against the same period for 2012.

A number of licenses grew in the field of transportation, alcohol manufacture, veterinary services, building design and employment. At the same time, a number of licenses decreased in the field of audit, pharmaceutics, metal and toxic chemicals production, gambling industry and tourism.

About 34.5 % or 304 license holders were granted the 50% rebate on the licenses. As of July, 1, the data base of the Licensing Chamber has contained records about 10.8 thousand valid licenses for various business lines.
