OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2013. Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Konstyantyn Gryshchenko makes work trip to Ternopil region.

While his visit he met with local authorities on the state and prospects of social and economic development of Ternopil region, particularly in the implementation of social initiatives of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.

Particular attention during the meeting was paid to education, preservation of cultural monuments of Ternopil region, development of sports and tourism potential.

The implementation of health care reform in the region also has been discussed during the meeting. Vice Premier noted a number of advances of the region in this field and thus emphasized the inadmissibility of any delay in the implementation of the Law of Ukraine "On emergency medical care."

During the trip Mr. Gryschenko attended the opening of a new radiology department of the Ternopil Regional Clinical Oncology Center, advanced equipment to which was purchased by Foundation for Development of Ukraine.

"The President of Ukraine has set a clear goal to create high-quality and affordable health care system. Today we made another important step to perform this task. This is could be accomplished by the charitable efforts of Rinat Akhmetov, local authorities and the Government. We once again assure ourselves that partnership of the authority and business gives the best results, allow us successfully reform the health care system and ultimately save lives," said Konstyantyn Gryshchenko.

K. Gryshchenko has also visited several settlements in Ternopil region, where he visited the sites of culture, sports and social infrastructure.
