OREANDA-NEWS. Drivers in Ukraine's east prefer Parallel filling stations, says a survey conducted by Research & Branding Group. Almost every second driver in Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts regularly fuels his car at one of those stations. Parallel brand awareness exceeds here 94%.

The filling stations operating under this trademark have three times more regular visitors than other big petrol chains in those oblasts.

Good fuel quality, location and service are the strongest incentives for the drivers to choose Parallel for regular tank-up. Many respondents also appreciate the stable petrol quality and benefits of Carte Blanche, the most popular loyalty programme among retail customers in Ukraine's east with over 60% of drivers being aware of it. Carte Blanche also tops the ranking of filling stations by customer satisfaction with loyalty programmes.

Petrol and diesel fuel sold under TM Perfekt retain leadership in the branded fuel market. Perfekt remains the most recognized fuel trademark and vast majority of drivers buying Perfekt 92 and Perfekt 95 said they were happy with its quality as “they had to go less to service station”, “the fuel is clean without admixtures” and “the engine works well”.

“The independent survey confirmed the strong position of Parallel in the east of the country,” said CEO Yelena Khiliyenko. “We highly value the trust of our customers and guarantee stable and high quality of fuel and comfortable driver service at our stations in any region of our operations. We believe we have every opportunity to improve our position in Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye Oblasts.”

The survey was conducted in July and August 2013 in the cities of Donetsk, Lugansk, Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye oblasts through personal interviews with more than 4,400 customers of the filling stations.

We remind that in 2012 Parallel invested UAH 3 million in quality control systems for oil products sold at Parallel-branded filling stations and over UAH 5 million to develop additional services.
