OREANDA-NEWS. Mining Machines enters the market of Poland launching a sales office in Katowice. The company has strong expertise in making equipment for mineral production in challenging geological conditions that is the most important for the Polish market today.

CEO Yevgeniy Romashchin says that Mining Machines has patented solutions for mining thin and ultra-thin seams.

“Cooperation with Polish mineral producers looks very promising and mutually beneficial for us. For more than 60 years we have gained hands-on experience in coal machine mining in challenging geologic conditions. We have developed a variety of technology and engineering solutions applied today in the global mining industry. I believe our Polish partners can benefit from our expertise,” he said.

Mining Machines presented its unparalleled solutions applied in roadheaders and coal cutters at Katowice 2013, the International Fair of Mining, Power Industry and Metallurgy, where they captured attention of Donald Tusk, the Prime Minister of Poland.

Yevgeniy Romashchin showed the most promising equipment for the Polish market to Mr Tusk and other fair visitors, in particular, the 20-tonne coal cutter for thin seams and a 40-tonne roadheader that has demonstrated a record-breaking capacity in Ukraine drifting 707 meters a month.

Mining Machines runs sales outlets in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and Vietnam. Launching a rep office in Poland matches the commitment of the company to be closer to European customers and provide manufacturer service in line with the best international standards.

Developing exports is a strategic focus for Mining Machines, says Romashchin. “Therefore, we expect export revenues to make up to 40% in our total income by 2016”, he added.
