OREANDA-NEWS. In the course of the implementation of the system of continuous improvement at KHARTSYZSK PIPE of Metinvest Group employees sent a portion of the proceeds from the economic effect for the charitable purposes. Twelve Khartsyzsk schools received sets of demonstration equipment that is projector and multimedia screen from pipe industry workers.

For the second year in a row the pipe industry workers implementing improvement suggestions, “add” earned means into so called “piggy bank of ideas.” The essence of the “piggy bank of ideas” is that for each improvement and suggestion the company pays the reward and bonus to the employee depending on the economic effect. The reward is sent to the “piggy bank of ideas” of pipe industry workers and then it sent for good causes. Thus, workers have gathered 43 thousand UAH.

Our innovators demonstrate the palmary example of patriotism to their hometown and the plant. Improving the work quality, they make a real contribution to the development of Khartsyzsk. I hope that all parents and teachers worthily appreciate the selfless assistance of pipe industry workers, who don not spare the time and their ideas to do something good for the town, Pavel Uzbek, the Acting Director General of KHARTSYZSK PIPE, said.

By the end of September all demo equipment purchased by ordinary employees, would be delivered to the schools of Khartsyzsk. Students of the educational body called “Intergal” No. 5 were the firs who received the gift.

Last year on the initiative of the plant workers at the expenses of the “piggy bank of ideas” the swaddling table and two refrigerators were purchased for the hospital, the light musical equipment was bought for kindergarten and the electric tea urn was purchased for the Centre for social and physical rehabilitation of people with disabilities in Khartsyzsk.
