OREANDA-NEWS. September 23, 2013. During September 2013 lectures on financial issues will be held for students in schools and higher educational institutions all over Russia with a view to boost the level of financial knowledge among Russian youngsters.

For three years the All-Russia Financial Awareness Day has been held in more than 70 regions of Russia. Senior managers and employees of Central Bank of Russia, Ministry of Finance, commercial banks, exchanges, brokerage houses, insurance companies, audit and appraisal firms, as well as those who work in investment and management companies, rating agencies will act as lecturers and experts.

In 2013 approximately 20 employees of OJSC Nordea Bank will give model lessons for high school students in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Rostov, Ekaterinburg, Saratov etc. Key matters to be discussed with students are personal financial plans, banks and bank products, core investment principles, etc.

A writing contest also dedicated to the All-Russia Financial Awareness Day will be introduced on the Bank’s webpage in Facebook.
