OREANDA-NEWS. September 23, 2013. RUSIPOTEKA Company has published its rankings of the leading Russian mortgage banks in performance for six months of 2013.

Sviaz-Bank is ranked sixth among the ten leaders. In 2013, the Bank issued 8,338 million rubles in mortgages (4,242 loans), or 49% more than it did over six months of 2012, and 6% of all the mortgage loans made by the Bank have been issued for the purchase of real estate on the primary market.

RUSIPOTEKA published on the same site its rankings, A Bank’s Contribution to the Mortgage Development in Russia Is the Amount of Mortgage Loans Issues over Its Time on the Market, in which Sviaz-Bank placed 14th. In all, the Bank has issued 34,308 million rubles over the time it has been on the mortgage market.

“Growth in the mortgage loan segment is the result of the Bank’s deliberate policy that is built with consideration for the great social significance of this kind of financial products. The Bank offers the most favorable loan terms available to its customers, in particular, reduced interest rates and an opportunity to pay just 10% of the apartment price as down payment. The number of construction projects accredited under the Bank’s New Home programs is growing in all regions of the Bank’s presence, and the borrowers can, therefore, buy housing on credit at the construction stage,” said Olga Oleinik, Vice Chair of Sviaz-Bank’s Management Board.
