OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2013. In August 2013 there was the decrease in Moldova in the average interest rate on loans to legal entities by 0.02 p.p. from 11.66% to 11.64%, the average interest rate on loans extended to individuals staying unchanged at 13.59%.

 It should be reminded that the all –time minimum of the average interest rate was recorded on loans in MDL provided in December, 2012, which made up 11.98% p.a. The highest interest rate in August, 2013 was that on loans extended for up to 1 month to individuals and made up 19% against 17.61% in July. The highest interest rate among rates for legal entities and individuals was that on loans extended for up to 1 month too.

It equalled to 13.59% in August against 13.72% in July. For legal entities, it made up 13.5% in August against 13.6% in July; for individuals, it was 19% and 17.61% in August and July respectively. The lowest interest rate was that on construction loans extended to individuals for 6 to 12 months and made up 8.95% p.a.

The lowest interest rate among rates for legal entities and individuals was that on loans extended for over 5 years. It equalled to 11.01% against 11.02% in July, making 10.97% and 11.5% respectively for legal entities and 11.05% and 10.81% respectively for individuals.
