And then there was a drought in 2010. The European Union had asked us deliver 500000 tons. Now, we without any quotas, without any permission supply several million tons of grain into the European market, and the need is much greater," Mykola Azarov said.

He stressed that "the question is in the quality, price and our ability to deliver." "If we had introduced restrictions on grain exports in 2010, now we provide export subsidies to our producers. So, I’m with optimism look what happening now," the Prime Minister said.

However, he said that now Ukraine is actively upgrading industry: "We have built new productions and now quality metal and metal products are turned out. So, if nothing spoiled us, we quietly occupy our niche."

At the same time he said: "We conduct a policy aimed on the development of domestic market, domestic consumption, seeing it as a very important and essential resource for the development of our economy. Therefore, the optimal combination of our export’s capabilities, opportunities and internal market should provide incentives for economic development."
