OREANDA-NEWS. September 26, 2013. Ukraine is ready to develop cooperation with Hungary within regional initiatives. This was stressed by Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary Zsolt Semjen in Kyiv.

"We certainly support the development of cooperation in the framework of regional initiatives such as the Central European Initiative, Visegrad Group or a number of other initiatives, where Hungarian side is an active participant," Mykola Azarov emphasized.

Prime Minister noted that his recent visit to Hungary, which was held in March of this year, showed a high level of bilateral cooperation.

According to him, our country is ready to develop cooperation. In particular, it comes about the comprehensive development of crossing points for road traffic through the Ukrainian-Hungarian state border.

In addition, Ukraine has offered the Hungarian side to consider the abolition of consular fees for the visa. Prime Minister recalled that Ukraine unilaterally introduced a visa-free regime for EU citizens in 2005.

"There are a number of other issues that should be discussed, for example, in the frameworks of the next meeting of the Ukrainian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on cross-border cooperation," Mykola Azarov emphasized.
